Spicy Scrambled Eggs with Shito

  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon butter or oil
  • 1 small onion, chopped1 tomato, chopped
  • 1-2 tablespoons shito (Ghanaian black pepper sauce)
  • Salt and pepper to taste



  1. Beat eggs in a bowl and season with salt and pepper
  2. Heat butter or oil in a pan and sauté onions until translucent
  3. Add tomatoes and shito, cook for a few minutes
  4. Pour in the eggs and scramble until cooked to your preference
  5. Serve hot with toast or fried plantains
