Supporting nationwide farmer trainings.
Do you offer training for your feeds? How can I join your farmer training? I need training for me and my farm team. At Koudijs Uganda, we believe long-term farm success is built on both quality nutrition and farmer knowledge. That’s why we are proud to support a series of nationwide farmer trainings, organized by our distributor, Kaffiika Animal Feeds.
Why farmer trainings?
Farmer trainings contribute to transforming poultry and piggery farming in Uganda by equipping farmers with the practical skills and economic insights needed for sustainable, profitable farm businesses. At Koudijs we are entrepreneurs and because of this, we actively seek opportunities to create value in the animal production chain by exchanging experience with other entrepreneurs.
With a wide-reaching network of outlets and agents, our sole distributor is well positioned to reach last mile farmers with sessions covering essential topics in poultry and piggery management, tailored to meet the needs of small and medium-scale farmers working to improve productivity and efficiency on their farms.
Expert training and support.
As the technical brand behind the feed solutions, Koudijs Uganda supports the training program by contributing expert knowledge in areas such as: Animal nutrition and health, Farm economics and planning, and Performance-based feeding strategies, including usage of Koudijs concentrates and complete feeds.
Our role is to ensure that the farmers reached are not only using top-quality feed but also understanding how to use it strategically to drive long-term results. The training sessions is powered by a team of highly qualified facilitators:
- Dr. Mukama Geoffrey, Koudijs Country Technical Sales Manager, brings veterinary and nutritional insight to support informed feeding practices and long-term planning.
- Baguma Francis, Commercial Director at Kaffiika, leads the commercial aspects of the program, supporting farmers see beyond price and focus on value.
- Buwembo Michael, a piggery specialist with Kaffiika, provides insights into piglet management and pig feeds tailored to their life cycle, improving pigs productivity.
This combination of technical and commercial expertise ensures that farmers leave each session with practical knowledge they can immediately apply on their farms.

Promoting Long-Term Feed Choices.
A core message delivered through the sessions is the importance of thinking long-term when making input decisions. Many farmers are accustomed to choosing feed based solely on price, but these trainings emphasize the real value of quality nutrition — particularly the role that Koudijs feed solutions play in improving production, and overall farm profitability.
The trainings follow a structured national calendar, with sessions held in different regions in coordination with distribution outlets and field agents, ensuring easy access for farmers. This reflects a shared goal to empower farmers with knowledge, and high-performance feed solutions needed for profitable farming.
