I’m Guido. Growing up on a farm in The Netherlands, I am passionate about agricultural businesses. For the past 10 years, I have been active in many countries in Africa and Asia, supporting farmers in finding solutions to improve on-farm results. East Africa is the fastest growing region, with a quickly developing market, warm and welcoming people, always eager to do their very best.
As Export Manager, I meet, connect and support farmers directly or through the vast local teams I work with, to design best possible customized solutions for each of YOUR farms. Any day, I will be up for a good football game, Formula 1, or a rolex. We are partners! So, how can we help you today?

Dr Geoffrey Mukama - Technical Sales Manager

My name is Geoffrey. With over 12 years in Uganda’s animal industry and six years at Koudijs Uganda, I am humble, proactive, goal-oriented, and focused on helping farmers boost profitability through good farm practices, quality feeds and, tailored market-oriented solutions. I have academically trained in Veterinary medicine (BVM), animal nutrition, (PGD-AN) Challenges of global poverty (COGP-MIT), and Business Administration (MBA).
I am a father of four, husband, and son to a farmer with a commercial layer farm, putting me in a unique position to understand the challenges and needs of an everyday farmer, from obtaining consistent quality feeds, raw material sourcing and ensuring timely, ready market access for farm output. At Koudijs, we remain committed to supporting farmers in achieving their business and commercial goals with practical, scientific and market driven support.

I am Shallot, from the cattle corridor region of Uganda, where cattle rearing is part of customs and daily routines. I am passionate about animals especially large animals; however, I do find other animals and livestock such as poultry interesting to work with. A normal day in my work involves farm visits, consultations on dairy and poultry feeds, as well as farm management and vet services. This supports farmers’ ability to hone their views and perspectives on feeding dairy cattle for increased production.
Farmers are of key interest and focus in all activities. For every 100 farmers, I’d like to see at least 60% embracing commercial and profitable dairy farming, shifting from free range grazing to zero grazing with predetermined sets of targets to be achieved.

I’m Mugyenyi, a dedicated veterinarian, passionate about animal health and productivity. I am thrilled to be part of Koudijs’ team, whose mission aligns with mine, to empower farmers achieve optimal livestock performance. What drives me is the desire to see farmers thrive. I believe that access to quality animal nutrition and expert advice can transform livelihoods, hence my commitment to delivering tailored solutions that meet the unique needs of everyday farmers.
Our science backed livestock and animal nutrition solutions boost animal health, fertility and productivity. My name is Isaac. I grew up in a family where we practiced subsistence farming, growing cereals and grains such as maize and rearing farm animals like piglets and local chicken. Passionate about outreach ministry and the biblical principles on work, I encourage farmers to have faith in their businesses because the entire human race relies on farming.
At Koudijs, I manage stock received from the Netherlands, ensuring a consistent, timely, and stable supply chain to make sure Koudijs animal feeds are available in every outlet. Having existed for over a century, Koudijs has the capacity, systems and people you need as a farmer to start, grow and thrive at every step in your journey.

Mathias Kamara - Raw Material Analyst

Managing a swine and poultry subsistence farm growing up, the major challenge was attaining good growth and reproduction of pigs and local chicken while feeding them a combination of brewer’s waste, kitchen waste, and crop residues. That inspired me to pursue a BSc. in Agriculture at Makerere University, specialising in animal science. Every farmer desires a formula that lowers the feed conversion ratio at an affordable cost. To achieve this, one needs as much information on the raw materials as possible to formulate a feed that meets the demands of the target animal.
For 3 1/2 years with Koudijs, I have been ensuring that information on raw materials is obtained using the latest NIRS technology in our lab in Uganda, but also sourcing information from a network of affiliate labs worldwide. I aspire to see an increased share of affordable animal-based protein in our diets stemming from utilising the best combination of local raw materials when feeding animals.
